BOISE, Idaho – Front Street Fights 18: Brokenshire vs. Cruz, presented by BodyBuilding.com, is set to kick-off the MMA schedule at CenturyLink Arena this Friday, Feb. 1 at 7:00 p.m.
Front Street Fights 18 will highlight nine different fights throughout the night including two main events, four professional fights and five amateur bouts on the card, highlighted by Drew “The Eternal Fire” Brokenshire making his second-straight Front Street Fights appearance to defend the Featherweight Title against Pocatello, Idaho native Andrew “Hurricane” Cruz, who last appeared under the lights in CenturyLink Arena at Bellator 205.
In addition, the Co-Main Event pits Carl Dieckmann for his first CenturyLink Arena bout in a light heavyweight fight against undefeated Emilio “The Jet” Trevino, making his fourth-straight appearance at CenturyLink Arena.
In total, there are three Idaho natives on the professional card, including two Boise residents: Brian Wieber, who makes his Front Street Fights debut against event veteran Jacob Hauck, and newcomer Cody “The Kid” Sattler, who will take on veteran Bryce “The Vice” Edminister. On the amateur card, eight of the 10 fighters are fighting out of Idaho, marking 13 of 18 total fighters hailing from Idaho.
Three fighters will also return to the cage after appearing in Bellator 205 in September at CenturyLink Arena: Cruz, who took down Nathan Stolen in the first round by submission; Edminister, who won his bout against Leon Taylor in the second round by submission; and Trevino, who has won three-straight events at CenturyLink Arena including Bellator 205.
