Umarov will face Cosce at Front Street Fights 17

Boise, ID (4/10/18)— Elmar Umarov seeks an encore performance in his second professional bout when he meets Louis Cosce at CenturyLink Arena on May 4th for a Bantamweight bout at Front Street Fights 17: Brokenshire vs. Jones, presented by Bodybuilding.com.

Umarov steps into the CenturyLink Arena cage for the second time, looking to match his performance at FSF13, while Cosce makes his professional fighting debut.

Umarov (1-0-0) defeated Abraham Campos at FSF13 with a first round submission via armlock, a Lightweight fight. The Idaho native, who grew up in Russia, was scheduled to appear at FSF15 to face Michael Garcia, a fight that was cancelled due to a medical issue. Prior to turning pro, Umarov was a perfect 7-0-0 in his amateur career.

Cosce (0-0-0) will take his first sanctioned professional fight. The Hoopa Valley, California native has wrestled competitively at the high school level. Cosce earned a knockout victory as an amateur at Bear River Fighting Championship in November 2016.

Front Street Fights 17 already features the Main Event bout between Drew “The Eternal Fire” Brokenshire and Matt “The Stripling Warrior” Jones, with Jones defending the Featherweight title. Vince “Vendetta” Morales and Nick “Garfield” Mamalis will meet in the Co-Main Event in a Bantamweight fight.

Doors for Front Street Fights 17 will open at 6pm, with the first fight scheduled for 7pm. The event will be broadcast live on Cable One Channel 72 and streamed on the Front Street Fights YouTube page.
