BOISE, Idaho – Local fighter Darrell Flores meets Oregon native Quentin Wyland in a lightweight bout at Front Street Fights 21: Cruz vs. McKinney, presented by Project Filter, on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
Flores (6-5-0) returns to his second-straight Idaho Central Arena appearance after taking down Kerry Lattimer by punches late in the first round at Front Street Fights 20 in October. This is the Idaho native’s third appearance at a Front Street Fights event after making his downtown Boise debut in May 2015 at Front Street Fights 5. Overall, he has won three of his last five fights but his win in October came after a four-year stretch away from the cage.
Wyland (3-2-0) makes his Front Street Fights debut after appearing in three fights during the 2019-20 calendar year and last in October. The fighter out of Oregon City won his first two professional fights in 2017, and all three of his wins have come by submission with two of those by triangle choke. Wyland comes out of American Top Team Portland, a gym led by former UFC fighter Fabiano Scherner.
The fight leads up to the Main Event where Andrew “Hurricane” Cruz looks to defend the Featherweight Title against Terrance “T.Wrecks” McKinney.
