Siler vs. Thometz set as Main Event for Front Street Fights VII

Boise, ID (09/30/15) – Boise-native Scott “Tickle Fight” Thometz will look for his fourth consecutive victory at CenturyLink Arena when he faces off against Steven “Super” Siler at Front Street Fights VII on November 13th. Thometz will replace Brandon Hempleman on the original fight card, after Hempleman was forced to withdraw for personal reasons.

Thometz, 31, brings a 9-4 record (1 KO, 5 submission) into his first main event at Front Street Fights. Thometz has never lost at CenturyLink Arena, winning his last two fights by unanimous decision in Front Street Fights V (defeated Darrell Flores) and Front Street Fights VI (Jake Jokela). Thometz has visited three times with Front Street Fights, and won another fight with Resurrection Fighting Alliance.

Siler, 28, is 26-11 (5 KO, 16 submission) in his career and will make just his second appearance on Front Street Fights. Siler defeated Hempleman at Front Street Fights IV back in February, a controversial decision after Siler came in overweight for the fight. Hempleman still accepted the bout, which Siler won after the referee stopped the fight in the first round.

The main event for Front Street Fights VII will mark the first career meeting between Thometz and Siler. The remainder of the fight card, professional and amateur, will be announced at a later date.

The event will begin at 7 PM with the doors opening at 6 PM.  Tickets start at $15 per seat and will go on sale at the CenturyLink Arena box office this Friday.  Call 208-331-8497 for more information.
