Idaho Central Arena is the home of the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads, the minor league affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Dallas Stars and the American Hockey League’s Texas Stars. Since their inception during the 1997-98 season, the Steelheads have never missed the playoffs between the West Coast Hockey League (WCHL) and the ECHL, and they appeared in three Kelly Cup Finals (ECHL), hoisting the Kelly Cup in 2004 and 2007. The team has produced 26 players that have gone on to play in the NHL while also continuing a community-focused approach away from the arena to connect with fans and community members alike.
The Steelheads play 36 regular-season games at Idaho Central Arena each season, welcoming over 300,000 fans each year.
Season ticket plans are now available, as well as flexible and affordable options for group outings. To reserve your seats, call (208) 383-0080 or visit IdahoSteelheads.com for more information.
