Final “Pink in the Rink” Numbers Announced

Boise, ID (12/3/12) – The Idaho Steelheads announced Monday that the weekend’s “Pink in the Rink” fundraiser netted $14,625 for the St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute.

The Steelheads wore pink jerseys that were auctioned off via silent auction on the CenturyLink Arena concourse. Fans also had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a team-signed pink-themed jersey as well during the Friday and Saturday night games against the Colorado Eagles.

Forward Mathieu Tousignant and goaltender Josh Robinson each had their jersey purchased outright for the maximum possible bid of $1,500. Kael Mouillierat ($1,000) and Tyler Beskorowany ($800) also fetched strong winning bids.

One hundred percent of the proceeds raised by the jersey auction went directly to St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute. The Steelheads did not keep a single penny. The Steelheads have now raised over $395,000 for local charities and non-profits via jersey auctions since 1997.

The team will have two more specialty jersey auctions later this season.

Partial-season ticket plans are still available, including the 20-voucher “Flex Plan,” starting at just $279 per plan. Fans receive 20 vouchers redeemable at their convenience for any game during the regular season with lower-bowl and upper-bowl options.
