Brokenshire vs. Cruz Title Fight Headlines Front Street Fights 18

BOISE, Idaho – A pair of Featherweights battle for the title at CenturyLink Arena on Friday, Feb. 1 when reigning Featherweight Champion Drew “The Eternal Fire” Brokenshire and Andrew “Hurricane” Cruz square off in the Main Event at Front Street Fights 18: Brokenshire vs. Cruz.

Brokenshire (18-8-0) makes his second appearance at Front Street Fights, winning the Featherweight Title over Matt Jones in May 2018 by rear naked choke in the third round. The 5-foot-9 Brokenshire has two-straight wins after a win over Charon Spain at an event in Washington leading into this title defense. Three of his last five results have come by unanimous decision, but six of his last nine wins have been taken by submission. The 32-year-old Washington native is considered one of the best Featherweights in the Pacific Northwest.

Cruz (4-3-0) enters his third appearance at Front Street Fights and fourth at CenturyLink Arena after winning his last bout in September. “Hurricane” took down Nathan Stolen at Bellator 205 in CenturyLink Arena just 3:41 into the first round by submission, breaking a three-match skid started at Front Street Fights 10. In his debut at the arena in Front Street Fights 9, the 5-foot-6 Cruz won at 4:57 of the first round by submission over Abraham Campos, marking his third-straight win to start his professional career. The 28-year-old Idaho native looks for his first Featherweight title.

Additions to the fight card, including the co-main event, will be announced later this week.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for Front Street Fights 18 with the first fight scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
