Morales, Cruz fight for Featherweight Title at Front Street Fights 10, presented by Bodybuilding.com

Boise, ID (9/30/16)— Front Street Fights veteran Vince “Vendetta” Morales will step inside the CenturyLink Arena cage for the fifth time in his professional career on December 9th when he battles undefeated Andrew “Hurricane” Cruz at Front Street Fights 10, presented by Bodybuilding.com, for the vacant Featherweight Title.

Morales (4-1-0) seeks his third straight victory in his first appearance since his win at Bellator 155 in Boise, a third-round TKO victory over Hamilton Ash. In addition to Bellator, the Ontario, Oregon native has won two of his three previous pro bouts at Front Street Fights, winning at FSF 5 and FSF 8 but suffering his only pro defeat at FSF 6. Morales also earned amateur victories at FSF 1 and FSF 4 prior to turning pro.

Cruz (3-0-0) is coming off his own success at CenturyLink Arena, earning a submission victory in his first visit to downtown Boise at FSF 9. Cruz defeated then-unbeaten Abraham Campos with an arm-bar in the closing seconds of the first round. The Idaho fighter has earned all three of his professional victories via submission.

Front Street Fights has also announced the co-main event for FSF 10, a lightweight bout between Aaron “The Savage” Sutton and Darrell Flores. Sutton and Flores were supposed to meet at King of the Cage in May 2016, a fight that was cancelled due to a Flores injury. Now, they’ll face off on Front Street.

Sutton will make his debut at Front Street Fights, while Flores returns to the Boise cage for the second time, and first since FSF 5.  Sutton (5-9-0) hails from Blackfoot, Idaho and looks to snap a three-fight losing streak. Flores (5-5-0), also an Idaho fighter, looks to snap a two-bout skid of his own in his first fight since July of 2015.

Doors open for Front Street Fights 10, presented by Bodybuilding.com, at 6pm with the first fight starting at 7pm. More fights will be added to the card, with announcements expected in the coming days.
