Umarov vs. Garcia joins fight card for Front Street Fights 15

Boise, ID (11/28/17)— After starting his professional fighting career on a winning note at FSF13, Elmar Umarov returns to the cage at CenturyLink Arena on January 19th to face FSF veteran Michael “The Animal” Garcia for a Welterweight bout at Front Street Fights 15: Hempleman vs. Morales, presented by Bodybuilding.com.

Umarov (1-0-0), 22, is a 5-foot-10 fighter out of St. Louis, by way of Boise, in search of his second professional victory. The Russian-born fighter defeated Abraham Campos in the first round of his pro debut at FSF13, earning an arm-lock submission just 1:55 into the fight. Prior to turning pro, Umarov was 7-0-0 as an amateur.

Garcia (2-1-0) is a 23 year-old Idaho fighter making his sixth appearance at Front Street Fights. The 5-foot-9 Garcia earned a win by unanimous decision at FSF13 over Billy Carothers. Garcia was defeated at FSF 12 by submission against Brandon Todd, but won in his pro debut at FSF11 with a first-round choke of David Rangel.

Umarov and Garcia join a fight card already featuring the main event bout between Brandon Hempleman and Vince Morales.

Additions to the fight card, including the co-main event, will be announced in the coming days.. Doors for Front Street Fights 15 will open at 6pm, with the first fight scheduled for 7pm. The event will be broadcast live on Cable One Channel 72 and streamed on the Front Street Fights YouTube page.
