Boise’s Veta Arteaga to fight at Bellator 205  

Boise, ID (7/30/18)— One of Boise’s most accomplished MMA fighters will be inside the cage at CenturyLink Arena on September 21st when Bellator make its second-ever visit to Boise. Veta Arteaga will take on Bellator Kickboxing Flyweight Champion Denise Kieholtz at Bellator 205: Curran vs. McKee, with Artega fighting for the hometown crowd for the first time since May 2016.

Arteaga is the first local fighter to be announced on a card that is expected to include many Boise athletes.

Arteaga (4-2-0) will fight for the sixth time with Bellator. She made her Bellator debut in the promotion’s first appearance at CenturyLink Arena in May 2016 at Bellator 155, winning a unanimous decision over Jackie Vandenburgh. The 30 year-old fighter is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Emily Ducote at Bellator 202 on July 13th.

She made her professional MMA debut at CenturyLink Arena at Front Street Fights 8, a split decision over Ashley Deen.

Kielholtz (2-1-0) has won each of her last two MMA fights, most recently with a unanimous decision over Petra Castkova in April at Bellator 196. The 29 year-old fighter from Amsterdam, Netherlands also holds a 4-1-0 record with Bellator Kickboxing to go along with her Flyweight title.

Bellator 205 is headlined by the Featherweight fight between two-time world champion Pat Curran and undefeated AJ McKee. Tickets are on sale now, starting as low as $30.
