 Parking advisory for Harley Hooligan and ‘Road to the X Games’ events

Boise, ID (6/12/18)— The action will be full-throttle in downtown Boise this week when bikes, blades, and skateboards take over the city for the ‘Road to X Games: Boise Qualifier’. With a high volume of spectators expected, at both Rhodes Park throughout the weekend and at CenturyLink Arena for Friday night’s Harley-Davidson Hooligan Racing event, the Downtown Boise Association has made several recommendations for fans making their way to the events.

Parking for Harley-Davidson Hooligan Racing on June 15

  • Use Front or Myrtle Street parking garages:
    • Public parking garages at 9th & Front, 10th & Front and 11th & Front are outside of any road closures, easiest to access, and affordable. Parking all day on weekends is just $6.
    • Private parking garages at the JUMP/Simplot complex offer paid parking on the 3rd and 4th levels of the JUMP garage or in Simplot’s below ground parking garage, with the entrance to both located on Myrtle Street between 11th and 9th Streets. Please note, the below ground parking garage is only available after 4pm Friday. Credit/debit cards accepted only.

Parking for ‘Road to X Games’ Events, June 16-17

X Games Shuttle:
X Games fans may park free in Ann Morrison Park or the lot at 25th and Fairview, and use the designated shuttle to Rhodes Park. No parking is available at Rhodes Park. Find more info on X Games parking at https://xgames.cityofboise.org/event-information/getting-here/

    • Private parking garages at the JUMP/Simplot complex are also open to the public Saturday and Sunday. This is paid parking on the 3rd and 4th levels of the JUMP garage or in Simplot’s below ground parking garage, with the entrance to both located on Myrtle Street between 11th and 9th Streets. Please note, the below ground parking garage is only available after 4pm Friday and until 6am Monday. Credit/debit cards accepted only.

Tickets for Harley-Davidson Hooligan Racing are still available, with CenturyLink Arena doors opening at 6pm. All events at Rhodes Park throughout the weekend offer free admission to the public.

Visitors are also reminded to consider ride-sharing services or to take advantage of public transportation via Valley Regional Transit. Guests are not recommended to rely on the availability of on-street parking.
