Amateur Fights Announced For Front Street Fights 19: McIntyre vs. McKinney

BOISE, Idaho – Four sets of amateur fighters will take to the cage to open Front Street Fights 19: McIntyre vs. McKinney on Friday, Apr. 19 at 7:00 p.m. in CenturyLink Arena.

All four undercard bouts will lead up to the Main Event, when rising MMA stars Bobby McIntyre and Terrance “T. Wrecks” McKinney square off in the final fight of the night and a shot at a featherweight title fight.

Taylor Trost (0-0) will make his amateur debut to open the undercard against second-timer Nate “Da Great” Mejia (0-1) inside the Front Street Fights cage in a bantamweight bout. Mejia made his amateur MMA debut at Front Street Fights 18 against Nacho Navarro in February and looks for his first amateur victory.

Nacho Navarro (3-0) returns looking for another victory in Boise as he takes on Noah “Constrictor” Shultz (3-1) in a flyweight bout. Navarro won at his Front Street Fights debut in the first round by punches against Mejia and most recently won in March by unanimous decision against Jeffrey Prado-Morales. Shultz makes his fourth Front Street Fights appearance, winning his last FSF tilt against Joe Rodriguez by unanimous decision at Front Street Fights 15 while taking down Timmy Garcia by armbar in December.

In a lightweight bout, Tanner “The Standard” Chapman (5-3) and undefeated Idaho native Almir Talic (2-0) square off in the third amateur fight. Chapman returns to the cage following his last fight in July 2016 against Joseph Querubin but won his first two career amateur bouts. Talic won in his FSF debut at Front Street Fights 15 by submission over Tim Cameron and has opened his amateur career with back-to-back triangle choke victories.

The final undercard fight features Jesse Starkey (0-1) returning to the cage against Thomas Boyer (3-0) in a heavyweight bout. Starkey made his Front Street Fights debut in February against Jarret Finau and looks for his first amateur win. Boyer appears at his first CenturyLink Arena event after three-straight wins, including a submission over Noah Kramer in his last fight in August 2018 and back-to-back wins by punches to open his career.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for Front Street Fights 19 with the first fight scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The event will be broadcast live on Cable One Channel 72 and streamed on the Front Street Fights YouTube Channel.
