Anthony Hamilton vs. Luis Cortez Headline Co-Main Event at Front Street Fights 19

BOISE, Idaho – A veteran of UFC takes on an Idaho native in a heavyweight bout as Anthony “Freight Train” Hamilton and Luis “The Mexican Hulk” Cortez take to the cage in the Co-Main Event at Front Street Fights 19: McIntyre vs. McKinney on Friday, Apr. 19 at 7:00 p.m. in CenturyLink Arena.

Hamilton (18-9-0) comes into his first Front Street Fights appearance ranked in the top-80 worldwide among heavyweight fighters with a wealth of UFC experience. The fighter out of Newcastle, Wash. has appeared at 10 UFC events with his most recent appearance coming in November 2017 at UFC Fight Night 121. Most recently, the 6-foot-5 Hamilton has won his last three fights with the last two by unanimous decision in September 2018 and February 2019.

Cortez (5-5-0) makes his fourth appearance at a Front Street Fights event after taking down Ben Beebe by punches at Front Street Fights 13 in August 2017. The fighter out of Idaho Falls, Idaho has won two of his last three fights and is also 2-1-0 at Front Street Fights events. The 6-foot Cortez is ranked second in Idaho and 51st in the U.S. West region among all heavyweight fighters.

The pair will take the cage leading up to the Main Event, when rising MMA stars Bobby McIntyre and Terrance “T. Wrecks” McKinney square off in the final fight of the night and a shot at a title fight.
