Season Ticket Holder Only game returns on October 7 vs. Utah

(Boise, ID) – The ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads are bringing back their popular “Season Ticket Holder Only” game on Friday, October 7, when the team will host the Utah Grizzlies in a preseason game.

Game time is 7:10 PM at CenturyLink Arena in downtown Boise.

The event is by invitation only, as each Season Ticket Holder will receive a certain number of passes into the contest so they can invite family and friends. A letter with the passes will be sent to the Season Ticket Holders, explaining the event to those who could not attend last season.

Seating is general admission and there will be no walk-up ticket sales for the game.

“This isn’t about making a buck, this is about doing something for our best, most-loyal fans,” Steelheads President Eric Trapp said. “They’re getting a free sneak peek at this season’s team.”

The Steelheads and Grizzlies will play a second preseason game on Saturday night, October 8, at the Eccles Ice Center in Logan, UT. The two teams will be well-acquainted with one another in very short order – Idaho and Utah open the regular season the following weekend with a similar home-and-home series, Friday night at the Maverick Center in West Valley City, UT, before a Saturday-night date at CenturyLink Arena in Boise.

Steelhead Season-Ticket Holders get six games FREE when they sign up for full-season packages. Plans for all 36 home games start at just $275 per seat. Partial-season plans are also available, with the home-opener coming on October 15 against the Utah Grizzlies. Contact the Steelheads front office at 208.383.0080 for more information.
