Amateur bouts added for Front Street Fights 13

Boise, ID (7/17/17)— Front Street Fights has announced two additional amateur fights for Front Street Fights 13: Cortez vs. Beebe, presented by Bodybuilding.com. On August 18th at CenturyLink Arena, Kellen VanCamp will meet Bryce Edminister while Kyle Frost makes his return to FSF to face Michael Farrer in the newcomer’s MMA debut.

VanCamp and Edminister meet in a Featherweight bout, while Frost and Farrer face off in a Welterweight contest.

VanCamp (7-0-0) puts his undefeated amateur record to the test in his first appearance at Front Street Fights. The 20 year-old 5’11” fighter out of Indiana will take his second fight of 2017, coming off a knockout win in February at Hardrock MMA 86, a win that earned him a Featherweight Title belt. VanCamp is ranked by Tapology.com as the top-ranked fighter in Indiana, Kentucky, and the US Southeast region.

Edminister (7-3-1) has traded wins and losses in his last five fights, earning a win in his last appearance at South Valley Slam Beach Brawl in May. The 25 year-old Edminister earned a first-round submission victory with an arm bar against Nick Estrada, the only submission victory of his amateur career and his second win to come in the opening round. The 5’11” Utah fighter has won four fights via decision and two by TKO.

Frost (3-0-0) will fight in his third FSF promotion after earning wins at FSF10 and FSF11. Both of Frost’s wins at CenturyLink Arena have come in the opening round, with the 29 year-old Idaho fighter winning by submission against Chris Hunt at FSF10 with a rear-naked chokehold and then knocking out Aldyn Ashcraft just seven seconds into the first round at FSF11. He faces Farrer, an Idaho fighter stepping into the cage for the first time.

Front Street Fights 13 now features three fights on the amateur card, with JohnBoy McComas and Ben Hollier slated for a rematch of their scrap at FSF12. Luis “The Mexican Hulk” Cortez and Ben Beebe will square off in the Main Event, the first Heavyweight bout featured in the Main Event in Front Street Fights history. Abraham Campos and Elmar Umarov are scheduled to meet in a Lightweight contest.

Additions to the fight card, including the co-main event, will be announced in the coming days. Doors for Front Street Fights 13 will open at 6pm, with the first fight scheduled for 7pm.
